Faculty Interview: As you know, psychology reaches into many different fields of study. Often times, theories from one discipline lend to further collaboration with another. Please choose any faculty member on campus to interview and discuss how psychology could affect their field of study. The following mandatory questions should be asked/answered:
- Name of faculty member and area of study
- Describe their main interest of study/research/teaching.
- What do they believe could be the next big discovery or the most exciting thing happening in their field today?
- Two additional questions of your own creation that you feel are relevant to your discussion.
Once you have gathered your faculty information, determine how their remarks are relateable to the field of psychology, using your text as a reference. Write a 3-page paper that includes specific reference to the psychological theory(ies) that have been taught in class.
Your final write-up must be in APA format (check https://owl.english.purdue.edu/ for details) and at least 3 pages (references not included). This means, you must include a title page, abstract, body of the paper, and reference section. Please upload your completed paper in the folder labeled “Psychology Paper” on ANGEL. Your paper should be entitled “Psychology Paper – (your initials)”
