Produce a brief analysis and evaluation of the role that diversity plays in the field of public administration, and your agency. Your writing Assignment this week is to submit a 4-5 page analysis and evaluation on the role diversity plays in the field of public administration, containing the following elements:
· Explain and evaluate the concept of diversity, and then analyze the role that it plays in the field of public administration.
· Examine your chosen administrative agency or organization in order to identify what role diversity plays in that organization.
· Analyze the value that can be added to that public agency or organization through enhanced efforts at improving diversity.
· Identify what organizational leadership is doing, or should be doing, to apply principles of leadership and improve the governance of the organization or agency and public policy through an enhancement of diversity within the organization.
· Length should be 4-5 pages, excluding cover page and references; typed double spaced in 10-12 point font (Arial, Courier, and Times New Roman are acceptable).
· Use proper APA style throughout and citations and references for the paper.
· Assignment should follow the conventions of Standard American English (correct grammar, punctuation, etc.).
· Writing should be well ordered, logical and unified, as well as original and insightful.
· Your work should display superior content, organization, style, and mechanics.
· Appropriate citation style should be followed.
Please draw upon at least five peer-reviewed academic journal articles that you identify from the internet or other sources. These articles should be written by leaders in the field of public administration, as they explore the topics of diversity, leadership in the field, and change governance and management in public administration.
