INTRO:

History shows us that human beings have the unique capacity to change their environment radically in short periods of time and are on the edge of having the ability to change themselves socially, through technology development, genetically and neurologically. Great writers have often tried to imagine what we humans will be like in the future with narratives such as 1984 by George Orwell, Blade Runner by Philip Dick, Ursula Le Guin and many others.

Now, imagine our world in 2066 and write a brief short story about how humans will be different psychologically. Write it as a story describing in the first or third person a small snapshot of day to day life in Seattle. Have fun with this, include a description of your characters lives demonstrating at least two or three changes that will have taken place and describe how they will effect us psychologically.
